Glenn McMinn Sr. began his coaching career at Apache Junction High School after a wrestling career at Arizona State University. Hailing from Del City, Oklahoma Glenn made history for the Sun Devil Program by becoming their first Wrestling All-American. He and his wife Judy are the parents of Glenn Jr., Wayne, and Rob Roy who combined to win 11 individual AIA State Titles wrestling for their father. AJHS Wrestling Teams have won 3 AIA State Titles, finished runner-up on 8 occasions, placed 3rd 6 times, placed 4th once and 5th twice

AJHS Wrestling Teams recorded 214 Dual Meet Victories

AJ Wrestlers have traveled the world to wrestle. AJ Wrestlers have competed in Japan, Germany, Hawaii, China, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, England, France and Korea.

The 1992 AJHS Wrestling Team had the highest GPA (3.87) of any athletic team, club or organization at AJHS.

AJHS Wrestlers have served as the AJHS student body president in 1975, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990 and 1997.
